The Wicks Group of Companies has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority equity position in Argyle Executive Forum LLC, a provider of C-level executive events for Fortune 500 business leaders.
Argyle Executive Forum (Argyle) hosts more than 100 annual full-day conferences, private breakfasts, dinners, workshops, virtual conferences, think tanks and roundtable discussions for its executive membership of leaders of the largest companies in the United States. The company’s events allow its members, speakers and sponsoring partners to connect in person, in a peer-to-peer, protected environment to share thought leadership, high level networking and direct discussion with fellow business leaders. Argyle is led by CEO Danny Phillips and founder and senior board member Jason Redlus. The company is headquartered in New York (www.argyleforum.com).
“Argyle is a leader in the rapidly expanding High Touch Engagement Events Market and is clearly a valued service provider to its attendee members and sponsors,” said Craig Klosk, managing partner and co-founder of Wicks. “We believe the breadth of opportunity for organic and acquisition-driven growth is compelling and we look forward to working with Danny and the rest of the Argyle team to support the next phase of the company’s development.”
