Eden Adds Tour de Force

October 12, 2018 by John McNulty

Compass Sales Solutions, a portfolio company of Eden Capital, has acquired Tour de Force.

Tour de Force is a provider of customer relationship management, sales force automation, business intelligence and business process optimization software. The company was founded in 2001 by CEO Matt Hartman and is headquartered in Findlay, OH (www.tourdeforceinc.com).

“Eden Capital is an ideal partner for Tour de Force given their experience and investments in vertical software and their commitment to our vision, our mission and our core values,” said Mr. Hartman. “Through this partnership, I am very excited to be a part of continuing to build the legacy of Tour de Force alongside the teams from Eden and Compass.”

Compass is a provider of sales force automation software that provides for prospect/client identification, Outlook integration, product configuration, proposal generation, MPS analysis and mapping, ERP integration, and mobile access via smartphones and tablets. The company was founded in 2001 by Troy Casper and is headquartered in Boise, ID (www.compasscontact.net).

“We are excited to announce the acquisition of Tour de Force in our software platform,” said Dina Said, Managing Director of Eden. “Tour de Force’s leading position in its markets will enable the platform to continue growing both organically and through M&A. We look forward to working with management to capitalize on its success.”

Eden Capital makes control, majority or substantial minority equity investments of $5 million to $50 million in companies that are active in the business services, healthcare services, and education & training sectors. Typical targets will be based in the US, Canada or Western Europe and will have EBITDA of $1 million to $15 million and total enterprise values of less than $100 million. Eden Capital has offices in New York and London (www.edencp.com).

Elm Park Capital (www.elmparkcap.com) provided debt financing for this transaction. Perkins Coie (www.perkinscoie.com) provided legal services to Eden.
