Ms. Cattier joined Cornell Capital in 2022 as the firm’s chief operating officer and chief compliance officer

Cornell Capital has promoted Jennifer Cattier to Partner. Based in the firm’s New York office, Ms. Cattier will continue to oversee operations and personnel, drive strategic priorities, and lead infrastructure initiatives for the firm.

Ms. Cattier joined Cornell Capital in 2022 as the firm’s chief operating officer and chief compliance officer. With today’s promotion, Cornell Capital’s partner group now consists of seven partners across its New York City and Hong Kong offices.

Before joining Cornell, Ms. Cattier was the general counsel and chief compliance officer at SK Capital Partners. She was previously General Counsel at Almanac Realty Investors, the private real estate investment division of Neuberger Berman. Earlier in her career, Ms. Cattier held senior legal and compliance roles at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank, focusing on private equity and real estate. She began her legal career in 1997 as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jenn to the Cornell Capital partnership,” said Henry Cornell, the firm’s founder and senior partner. “Jenn has institutionalized our operational infrastructure, and we have benefited tremendously from her depth of experience and leadership. Since our founding, we have consistently invested in building and strengthening our best-in-class team, and Jenn’s promotion directly reflects that.”

Ms. Cattier has her undergraduate degree from Trinity College and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

New York and Hong Kong-headquartered Cornell Capital was founded in 2013 by Henry Cornell, the former vice-chairman of Goldman Sachs’ merchant banking division, to invest in companies in the consumer, energy, financial, and industrial sectors. In March 2022, the firm held an above-target closing of Cornell Capital Partners II LP with $1.7 billion in capital commitments. Cornell’s inaugural fund closed in June 2018 with $1.3 billion in capital commitments.
