Duff & Phelps has hired Michael Collier as a new managing director in its transaction advisory services group. Mr. Collier will be based in the firm’s Houston office.
Mr. Collier will be active in assisting clients with buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, providing corporations with financial operations support, and advising private equity-backed management teams in the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Mr. Collier launched his own financial consulting practice, where he advised management teams in the oil and gas sector. Earlier in his career, he was recruited by Goldman Sachs Investment Partners to serve as the CFO of Layline Petroleum. Michael spent over 22 years at PwC, where he was a partner and head of the US Energy Transaction Services practice and a leader in the firm’s Houston energy practice.
