Duff & Phelps has hired Marc Chiang as a new managing director. Mr. Chiang will be active in the firm’s transaction advisory services group with a focus on the technology sector. He will be based in San Francisco/Palo Alto and will work closely with Pagemill Partners, a division of Duff & Phelps that specializes in technology mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Chiang has over twenty years of transaction advisory experience and will be active with buy-side and sell-side due diligence processes, covering growth equity investments, valuation and purchase agreements, revenue recognition issues and working capital adjustments.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Marc was a partner at Grant Thornton and served as the transaction advisory services national technology leader and California practice leader. He received his MBA from the International Institute of Management Development (Lausanne, Switzerland) and his BA and MACC (Master of Accounting) degrees from the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, OT).
