Xact Data Discovery (XDD), a provider of eDiscovery, data management and managed review services to law firms and corporations, and a portfolio company of Clearview Capital since January 2015, has acquired F1 Discovery, also a provider of eDiscovery services to law firms and corporations.

F1 Discovery was founded in January 2013 by Judson Holt and is headquartered in San Francisco (www.f1discovery.com).
The purchase of F1 is the latest add-on completed by XDD. In January the company acquired Orange Legal Technologies, a provider of electronic discovery and outsourced managed review services. The company has a specialization in legal cases related to the pharmaceutical industry. Orange Legal was founded in 1995 and is based in Salt Lake City (www.orangelt.com).
XDD’s services include forensic collection, processing, hosting, document review and project management services. The company’s customers include national and regional law firms, corporations and government entities. XDD has sector specialization in pharmaceuticals; medical devices; financial services; oil, gas and energy; and intellectual property, antitrust and litigation. XDD has 16 offices in 12 states and is headquartered in the Kansas City suburb of Mission, KS (www.xactdatadiscovery.com).
Clearview Capital was founded in 1999 by James Andersen and Calvin Neider and is headquartered in Old Greenwich, CT with additional offices in Chicago and Los Angeles (www.ClearviewCap.com).
