Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Coben was most a Managing Director and the Global Co-Head of the Energy & Power Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She has 30 years of investment banking experience and 21 years experience in the power sector. Ms. Coben has advised her clients on a number of notable strategic transactions including advising PPL (Pennsylvania Power and Light) on its acquisitions of the US business of E.On – a Düsseldorf- based power company; AES on its acquisition of DPL (Dayton Power and Light); and Duke Energy on the acquisition of Progress Energy. She also advised Cinergy on its merger with Duke Energy and the combined company on the spinoff of Spectra Energy. Ms. Coben has a BA in History and Economics from Colgate University and an MBA from Harvard.
