Arsenal Adds-on With Buy of Premium Spray Products

premium spray nf1Accella Performance Materials, a maker of polyurethanes and recycled rubber products and a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners since 2012, has acquired Premium Spray Products (PSP), a manufacturer of spray foams used in residential, commercial, and industrial insulation and roofing applications.

Premium Spray Products ( was founded in 2009 and is based in Marietta, GA. The company is led by its President and owner Mac Hess, who will stay on with Accella after closing of the transaction.

Accella is a manufacturer of custom formulated polyurethane systems and recycled rubber products. The polyurethane business is focused on formulations for spray, pour and cast applications involving foams, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers. The recycled rubber products business manufactures recycled tire crumb, equine matting, athletic flooring, and playground surfacing. With the acquisition of Premium Spray Products, Accella now has eight production facilities across the United States, one in Europe and one in China.  Accella is headquartered in the St. Louis suburb of Maryland Heights (
