Having closed its second lower middle-market fund in September, Summit Park has now added three new professional to its team with the hirings of Houston Stokes, Kyle Taura, and Ian Morris. Mr. Stokes and Mr. Taura join Summit Park as Associates, while Mr. Morris joins as a Business Development Associate.
Summit Park is actively seeking platform investments in businesses with $20 million to $100 million of revenue, located in the South and Southeastern regions of the US in the business services, outsourced services, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Within these sectors, the firm has a specific interest in companies in the food and beverage, food safety, and test and measurement sectors.
Summit Park is also seeking add-on opportunities for its current portfolio:
- Tennessee Industrial Electronics, a supplier of new and refurbished parts for computer numerical control machine tools (fanucworld.com) based in near Nashville in La Vergne, TN.
- NSi, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of electrical connectors and time switches based near Charlotte in Huntersville, NC (nsiindustries.com).
- Parkline, a manufacturer of site-erected and modular metal buildings (parkline.com) based near Charleston in Eleanor, WV.
- Control Company, a supplier of digital analytical and measurement products to the scientific laboratory sector (control3.com) based outside of Houston in Friendswood, TX.
Mr. Stokes joins Summit Park from BB&T Capital Markets where he was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group. He graduated with a BS in Finance from Wake Forest University.
Ms. Taura was previously an Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Sports Finance & Advisory Group. Mr. Taura graduated with a BS in Finance and an MS in Accountancy from Wake Forest University.
Mr. Morris’ prior work experience was in business development roles at New Century Capital Partners and 7 Mile Advisors. In addition, Mr. Morris was a Research Analyst at Coe Capital Management. Mr. Morris graduated with a BS in Finance from DePaul University.
