Ridgemont Promotes Purcell and Leedy

Ridgemont Equity Partners has promoted Jack Purcell to Partner and Kurt Leedy to Principal. Both Mr. Purcell and Mr. Leedy are presently based in the firm’s Charlotte office however Mr. Leedy will be relocating to Ridgemont’s Dallas office in the near future.

“Jack joined our team more than a decade ago and has become an important contributor to our success. In particular, he has been a key driver of growth in our basic industries sector,” said Travis Hain, Partner and member of the Executive Committee at Ridgemont. “Congratulations are in order for both Jack and Kurt on their well-deserved promotions.”

purcell nfMr. Purcell will continue to focus primarily on investments in the basic industries sector. He serves on the boards of directors of Aurora Parts & Accessories, J.A.M. Distributing Company, Johnstown Wire Technologies and Gallus BioPharmaceuticals. Mr. Purcell earned his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and a BA in Economics from Davidson College.

leedy nfMr. Leedy will continue to focus on investments in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. He serves on the boards of directors of Unite Private Networks, Simpleview and AccentHealth. Mr. Leedy earned his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BBA in Finance and a BA in Spanish from the University of Texas.
