Roofing Supply Group (RSG), a wholesale distributer of roofing supplies and related building materials, and a portfolio company of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, has acquired Supreme Metal Products and Exterior Building Supply. Roofing Supply Group was acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice from The Sterling Group in May 2012.
Supreme Metal Products is a metal roofing manufacturer and distributor of residential and commercial roofing products. The company is based in Tuscaloosa, AL (www.suprememetalproducts.com).
Exterior Building Supply (“EB Supply”) is a distributor of siding, windows, columns, shutters, and trim. The company is based in Tuscaloosa, AL (www.ebsupply.net).
Both companies will be combined to operate under the name Supreme Building Products, a Roofing Supply Group company. Cret Shamblin, co-owner of both Supreme and Exterior Building Supply, will join Roofing Supply Group as the Branch Manager and will continue to run the location going forward.
