William Epstein to Co-Head Valuation Services Group of Capstone

Capstone Advisory Group has promoted William Epstein to Co-Head of its Valuation Services group. Mr. Epstein is based in Los Angeles and will co-lead this group with Bruce Bingham who is based in New York.

“William has played a key role in expanding and executing the services we provide to and on behalf of boards of directors, private equity firms, and lenders. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning the firm as one of the premier providers of transaction opinions,” said Edwin Ordway, Manager of Capstone Advisory Group.

Mr. Epstein has provided fairness and solvency opinions in connection with many types of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, exchange offers, spinoffs, distressed financings, leveraged buy-outs and a variety of related party transactions. He has testified in several different venues as a designated expert and in support of transaction opinions.

Prior to joining Capstone, Mr. Epstein was a National Director at American Appraisal Associates, responsible for the firm’s global Opinion Services Practice, and was a Managing Director with Navigant Capital Advisors, in charge of Navigant’s fairness opinion services. Prior to joining Navigant, Mr. Epstein spent more than 16 years with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin as Southwest Director for fairness and solvency opinions and was a member of Houlihan’s National Transactions Review Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a MBA degree from the University of Virginia.
