“Companies today struggle to find people with the right skills, talent and experience who can have an immediate impact, but these companies can’t afford the time involved in extended searches,” said Robert Rough and Ken Cichocki, co-founders of Pillar Solutions Group. “Instead, our clients, which include leading private equity groups, turn to us. We provide them with the right executives and consultants on a project basis. Kevin McAleer and Jeff Margolies enhance our ability to meet that demand, and we are delighted to have them on board.”
Mr. McAleer has served six publicly traded and two privately held companies as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Director, and Executive Committee member. As CFO, he led four IPO’s in four different industries; technology, consumer products, telecommunications and financial services. He raised more than $4 billion in equity, debt and bank facilities for his companies and has restructured $500 million of senior and junior high yield debt in a “fast track” pre-negotiated bankruptcy for a chemical manufacturer. He has completed numerous acquisitions ranging in value from $20 million to $500 million. Mr. McAleer is a CPA in the State of Texas.
As a Partner and practice leader with PricewaterhouseCoopers and executive in the technology industry, Mr. Margolies has worked with publicly held and private companies of all sizes to improve the performance of their businesses. He has led client engagements to plan and manage the operational details of mergers and carve-outs, improve administrative efficiency and reduce related costs, develop and assess information technology strategies, processes and programs, turn-around poorly directed or executed projects, and develop customer service, supply chain and strategic sourcing improvement programs.
