FOCUS, a middle market investment banking firm, has hired Allen Conger as a new Principal in the Southeast region. “Allen has years of investment banking experience and his financial advisory skills in such industries as construction, energy, technology, distribution and healthcare will serve our client base well,” said Jonathan Wilfong, FOCUS partner.
In addition to his financial transaction experience, Mr. Conger has an operating background having spent eight years as the principal shareholder and CEO of a construction management company specializing in high-end residential projects in the Charleston, SC area. He began his career selling surgical equipment and supplies and his knowledge of anatomy, physiology, surgical protocol and his experiences in the operating theater has aided his work with numerous healthcare companies throughout his career. Mr. Conger earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and he has an MBA from The University of Chicago.
