Total Access Elevator, a portfolio company of Century Park Capital Partners, has acquired American Elevator, an independent elevator service company. American Elevator maintains, repairs and modernizes elevators for building owners and managers. The company is based in Los Angeles.
The deal expands Total Access’s presence in Southern California. Founded in 2008 and based in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Total Access modernizes, maintains and repairs commercial elevators in apartment buildings, corporate headquarters, offices and institutional facilities. Century Park, a Los Angeles private equity firm founded in 2000 that invests in family and owner-operated businesses, is growing Total Access through acquisitions of established local service providers. Total Access general manager Hugo Vega pointed to American Elevator’s customer service and long-standing client relationships, and owner Eli Carlstrom said Total Access will give the business additional resources to grow.
