AVS Bio, a supplier of bioprocessing inputs owned by Arlington Capital Partners, has acquired Biorbyt, a supplier of research reagents. Biorbyt sells more than 1 million antibodies, proteins, ELISA kits and molecular biology products through its e-commerce platform to pharmaceutical and biotech companies and academic institutions worldwide. Founded in 2011, the company is based in Cambridge, U.K.
Biorbyt will continue to operate under its existing leadership, including co-founders Tillmann Ziegert and Qun Yang, as part of AVS Bio.
