BPOC Invests in Master Medical Equipment and ReNew Biomedical

Master Medical Equipment sells, rents and refurbishes the capital equipment ambulance crews and clinics depend on, including defibrillators, infusion pumps, ventilators, stretchers and monitors, while sister business ReNew Biomedical repairs and maintains it. BPOC has made a strategic investment in both.

Founded in 2011 and 2014 in Jackson, Tennessee, the two businesses serve emergency medical services and post-acute customers through a national distribution network and service sites in Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida. Adam Hentze, a partner at BPOC, said Mark Taylor and his team have built the businesses well and that BPOC looks forward to the next chapter. Mr. Taylor, founder and chief executive officer, said the partnership is a step toward expanding geographic reach and the product line. Stout advised the companies with Holland & Knight as legal counsel, Paul Hastings advised BPOC, and BMO provided debt financing. Founded in 1996, Chicago-based BPOC has raised seven funds totaling roughly $2.5 billion.
