Smith Communication Partners, an Atlanta-based consulting firm specializing in workforce strategy and employee communications, has been acquired by Allvia, a workforce services platform backed by Trinity Hunt Partners. Smith Communication helps employers translate HR, benefits, compensation, and workforce initiatives into communications employees can understand and act on, with offerings spanning employee benefits, total rewards, organizational change, compliance communications, and engagement strategy. Founded in 2005, the firm is led by President and Managing Partner Trey Wood, who will continue running the business alongside his leadership team.
The deal is Allvia’s third addition since Trinity Hunt formed the platform in February through its investment in Melita Group, followed by the acquisition of HR Pals in March.
