Renovus-Backed xFact Acquires Stonewall

Stonewall Solutions, a Massachusetts-based provider of custom technology services to state and local government, has been acquired by xFact, a technology and digital transformation provider to public sector clients.

Stonewall’s capabilities span IT modernization, Microsoft 365 services, application development, and case and content management for government, law enforcement, higher education, and commercial clients across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Mississippi, and Vermont. Founded in 2004, the company is led by president and chief executive officer John Condon.

The deal deepens xFact’s Northeast footprint, adding IT modernization and case management capabilities to a platform spanning public safety, health and human services, and state and local government. xFact, also Massachusetts-based and led by chief executive Jeff Valentine, was itself formed through a 2025 merger with DataServ under the same sponsor.

Renovus Capital Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on the knowledge and talent sectors, is xFact’s majority owner and backed the transaction. Founded in 2010 and based in the Philadelphia area, Renovus manages more than $2 billion in assets. Jason Tanker led the deal for Renovus.
