AMPAM Parks Mechanical, the Gemspring-backed California residential MEP platform headquartered in Carson, California, has acquired Coastal Fire & Integration Systems, a Poway, California provider of fire protection, low-voltage, and life safety systems for multifamily and mixed-use construction. Founded in 2014 by Denny Stover, Coastal provides preconstruction planning, design, installation, inspection, and quality-control services for fire protection and low-voltage networks. Mr. Stover will continue with the business.
The acquisition adds fire protection and life safety capabilities to AMPAM’s existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing platform, supporting the company’s goal of serving California multifamily, hospitality, student housing, senior living, and mixed-use developers across a broader scope of building systems.
