DwyerOmega, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Lake Shore Cryotronics, a Westerville, Ohio manufacturer of precision measurement instruments for cryogenic temperature, magnetics, and material characterization applications.
Founded in 1968 by brothers John and David Swartz, Lake Shore serves researchers and engineers in quantum computing, semiconductor fabrication, aerospace, medical research, and fusion energy with sensors, monitors, controllers, cryostats, and complete measurement systems. Michael Swartz serves as president and chief executive officer.
The acquisition adds cryogenic and magnetics measurement capabilities to DwyerOmega, which was built through Arcline’s acquisitions of Dwyer Instruments in 2021 and Omega Engineering in 2022 and has since expanded through several additional add-ons including Process Sensing Technologies in 2024.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Arcline invests in technology-driven industrial businesses and manages more than $30 billion in assets under management. Houlihan Lokey served as financial advisor to DwyerOmega.
