Angeles Equity Partners, a Los Angeles-based firm focused on niche manufacturing, critical industrial services, and specialty distribution businesses, has hired Chris Huetsch as a principal on its investment team. Mr. Huetsch will focus on evaluating, executing, and managing investments across the industrials sector.
Mr. Huetsch joins from Arsenal Capital Partners, where he served as an industrial-focused investment principal responsible for deal evaluation and execution. Prior to Arsenal, he was an investment analyst at D1 Capital Partners, a principal in the private equity group at KKR, and began his career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a Finance and Banking concentration from the University of Missouri.
Angeles was founded in 2014 by co-founders and managing partners Tim Meyer and Jordan Katz and invests in lower middle-market industrial businesses across North America. The firm closed its second fund above $540 million in 2025, bringing total committed capital to nearly $1 billion across two funds.
