Liberty Waste Solutions, the Allied Industrial Partners-backed North Carolina residential and commercial waste platform headquartered in Raleigh, has acquired Bill’s Trash Services, a residential waste collector serving the greater Fayetteville market and Harnett County, North Carolina.
The acquisition is Liberty’s fourth of 2026, following M&M Garbage Disposal, Randolph County Garbage Servicing, and AJ Disposal. Since Allied first invested in Liberty in 2022, the company has modernized its fleet, implemented advanced routing and dispatch technology, and in April 2024 divested its scrap metal division to become a pure-play waste platform. Rick Prather serves as CEO.
Allied, founded in 2019 by co-founders and managing partners Bradford Rossi and Philip Wright, manages over $1 billion in assets and invests in lower middle-market companies across industrial rentals, manufacturing, distribution, environmental services, and critical infrastructure.
