One Physics, a provider of radiation testing and imaging compliance services for hospitals backed by Blue Sea Capital, has acquired Petrone Associates, expanding its presence in the New York metropolitan market.
Blue Sea invested in One Physics, then known as Apex Physics Partners, in 2019. Staten Island-based Petrone provides diagnostic medical physics and radiation safety services to hospitals, imaging centers and healthcare providers. Founded in 1982 by Thomas Petrone, the company is One Physics’ 22nd acquisition.
Petrone adds diagnostic and therapy medical physics expertise, radiation safety services and a CAMPEP-accredited residency program to One Physics’ operations. Maryland-headquartered One Physics, led by CEO Jason Schneck, serves more than 7,000 healthcare sites across over 45 states. Principal Erin Lansky of Blue Sea led the transaction.
