Air Transport Components, an aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul business backed by AE Industrial Partners, acquired PAS MRO, a Bristow, OK, bearing repair company. PAS MRO was founded in 2003 and repairs bearings for aircraft engines, airframes, accessories, helicopters, ground power equipment and marine applications. ATC, founded in 1998, repairs and overhauls aircraft components and accessories from facilities in Tulsa, OK, and Gilbert, AZ.
The add-on gives ATC more depth in bearing repair and broadens its component repair work across its existing sites. PAS MRO is expected to keep its team and leadership, giving ATC added capacity without changing day-to-day operations. AE Industrial has been building ATC into a broader aerospace aftermarket platform through acquisitions. Bryan McElwee, a partner at AE Industrial, was among the deal participants.
