Stonebridge Partners has closed the buy of CVM Electric in partnership with founder Carlo Madonia, Jr. and his sons Tre and Kyle Madonia. The Madonia family, previously the sole owners, will retain a significant ownership stake and continue in their leadership roles following the transaction.
Stonebridge has indicated that it plans to expand CVM’s service offerings, pursue geographic growth, and invest in operations, talent, and internal systems. The transaction represents Stonebridge’s 36th platform investment and its 14th in the infrastructure and building products sector.
Brookside Capital Partners and Northcreek Mezzanine provided debt financing and co-invested equity alongside Stonebridge and the Madonia family.
Working the transaction for Stonebridge were Steve Hanna, Bill Connors, and Greg Goulette.
