Trident Solutions, a portfolio company of ATL Partners, has acquired Ibeos, a developer of space-qualified power systems, flight computers, processing and data storage units, and high-density batteries used in satellite and spaceflight applications. The new acquisition expands Trident’s space electronics platform and strengthens its ability to deliver power, computing, and networking technologies to its government and commercial space customers.
Ibeos develops avionics and electronics designed for demanding space environments ranging from low Earth orbit to deep-space and lunar missions. Its products include radiation-hardened power systems, high-performance processing units, and energy storage technologies optimized for size, weight, and power efficiency. The company’s special capabilities in radiation hardening and thermal optimization complements Trident’s capabilities in on-orbit mission data processors and networking technologies.
