Kian Capital Partners promoted Ulrich Erasmus to Principal as the firm continues expanding its leadership team and investment platform. The promotion reflects the firm’s focus on developing senior talent to support growth and value creation across its portfolio.
Mr. Erasmus joined Kian in 2021 as a Vice President and has more than a decade of private equity experience, particularly in the essential services and value-added distribution sectors. Prior to Kian, he served as a Senior Associate at Trivest Partners, where he worked on sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio company management. Earlier, he was an Associate at Trive Capital, evaluating and executing investments including buyouts, growth equity transactions, corporate carve-outs, and structured capital investments.
In his new role, Mr. Erasmus will take on broader leadership responsibilities, including developing next-generation sourcing initiatives, improving operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making, and helping recruit and develop junior investment professionals. He will also remain involved across the investment lifecycle, including origination, diligence, structuring, and portfolio management.
