Riverside Adds to Relay Fire and Safety Platform

New York City-headquartered The Riverside Company has invested in AC&M Fire Equipment, adding the Massachusetts-based fire-extinguisher services and product-sales business to its Relay Fire and Safety platform, which provides fire and life safety systems and services throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and New England markets.  AC&M inspects, services and sells fire extinguishers, suppression products and related safety equipment to commercial customers and offers training and compliance support.Managing Partner Loren Schlachet and Senior Partner John McKernan led the transaction for Riverside along with Assistant Vice President Aakeem Andrada, Associate Austin Peko, Analyst Aneesh Bafna, Operating Partner Shaun Kelley and Finance Director Kyle Anderson. Origination Partner Cheryl Strom helped source the deal for Riverside.
