BV Investment Partners has completed the acquisition of the Managed Repair Program division from Alacrity Solutions, a portfolio company of Antares Capital, Blue Owl Capital, and KKR since March 2025, and has launched the business as Altimeter Solutions Group.
BV completed the transaction using capital from its eleventh and twelfth funds. The buy and launch of Altimeter Solutions Group is the first investment for BV Investment Partners Fund XII LP (Fund XII), which closed earlier this month at its hard cap of $2.5 billion, exceeding its initial target of $2.0 billion.
Altimeter Solutions Group will operate as a managed repair services company that helps property and casualty insurance carriers get damaged homes and buildings fixed after a claim. The company acts as a central coordinator for the entire repair process — starting with assessing the damage, assigning a qualified contractor from its national network of licensed and insured contractors, overseeing cleanup and repairs, and confirming the work meets required standards before the job is closed.
By centralizing workflow management, data-driven oversight, and quality control, the Altimeter reduces claims cycle times, lowers administrative burden, and delivers more predictable outcomes across geographies and claim types.
Jonathan Miko, who currently leads the Managed Repair Program division, will continue with Altimeter Solutions Group as its new CEO. “I am thrilled to be partnering with BV on this transaction,” said Mr. Miko. “With the support of BV’s financial and strategic resources, Altimeter is exceptionally well positioned to pursue a growth strategy focused on scaling our technology-enabled platform, deepening relationships with our carrier partners, and expanding our capabilities across core and adjacent service areas. Our focus will be on continued product innovation and selective M&A that further strengthens trusted customer partnerships through expanded services and enhanced outcomes.”
Stephen Marquardt
“We are excited to partner with Jon and the entire Altimeter leadership team as they build a leading managed repair platform,” said Stephen Marquardt, a partner at BV. “Altimeter operates at the intersection of technology, data, and critical insurance workflows, and we see significant opportunity to accelerate growth through continued investment in technology, operational excellence, and strategic acquisitions. We believe Altimeter is well positioned to become a differentiated partner to insurance carriers navigating increasingly complex claims environments.”
Boston-headquartered BV makes investments of $65 million to $175 million in North America-based companies that have EBITDA from $5 million to $30 million. Sectors of interest include tech-enabled business services, software, and IT services industries.
