Rowan Energy specializes in frac sand filtration and field support services

Gladstone Investment Corporation has acquired Rowan Energy, a provider of oilfield services, in partnership with Xyresic Capital.
Rowan Energy is an oil and gas services company that specializes in frac sand filtration, completion-equipment deployment, and field-operations support. In a typical commercial application, Rowan deploys high-capacity filtration units to well sites, removing fine particulates from fracking fluids to prevent equipment damage during high-pressure pumping operations. Rowan Energy is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
According to Grand View Research, the U.S. oil and gas security and service market was valued at $7 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $8.4 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 3.1%. The market is driven by increasing demand for efficiency in drilling operations and the maintenance of aging well infrastructure.
