CAI Capital Partners has formed GreenArrow as a new electrical infrastructure services platform. The formation of GreenArrow unites three infrastructure services businesses that CAI previously acquired: Midwestern Electric in November 2021, Kuharchik Construction in June 2023, and Bear Electrical Solutions in August 2024.

Indiana-based Midwestern Electric and Pennsylvania-based Kuharchik Construction are providers of installation and maintenance services for traffic signals and other transportation systems across Indiana, Pennsylvania, and parts of Illinois. California-based Bear Electrical Solutions is a provider of installation and maintenance services for streetlights, traffic signals, and electric vehicle charging stations for over 100 public agencies in California. In tandem with the formation of GreenArrow, CAI has named Lloyd Kuehn as the company’s chief executive officer. Mr. Kuehn has more than 25 years of leadership experience across finance, operations, and executive management in the construction and infrastructure services industries. From 2013 to 2025, he held multiple executive roles at GeoStabilization International, including Vice President and General Manager of the Road Services Division, VP of Business Integration (M&A), Chief Administration Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he was CFO of RK Mechanical from 2010 to 2013 and CFO of Scott Contracting from 1999 to 2010.

“I am honored to join the talented team at GreenArrow and lead this group of exceptional companies,” said Mr. Kuehn. “With a strong foundation and a clear vision for growth, the opportunities ahead are immense. With a continued commitment to safety, quality and excellence, I am excited to expand our capabilities and create a fully integrated and unified platform that will position us as a differentiated and leading electrical solutions provider across the United States.”

“Each of these three brands has an outstanding reputation for service and safety within their respective markets,” said Curtis Johansson, a partner at CAI. “It was important to maintain their individual brand identities while also leveraging the benefits of a consolidated national platform. We are thrilled to have Lloyd join our talented team and believe that under his leadership we will become the preeminent electrical solutions provider for critical transportation infrastructure across the United States.”

CAI Capital Partners, founded in 1989 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, targets investments in founder-led, lower middle market companies across Canada and the United States that have at least $3 million in EBITDA. The firm’s most recent fund, CAI Partners V LP, closed in 2021 with C$225 million in commitments.

GreenArrow is actively seeking additional add-on acquisitions of infrastructure services companies.
