David Sampair Named Partner at Yukon

Yukon's newest partner joined the firm in 2011 as an analyst and he has nearly two decades of accounting, finance, and investment experience

Minneapolis-based Yukon Partners has promoted David Sampair to Partner.

“We are very pleased to announce the promotion of David Sampair to partner,” said William Dietz, a managing partner at Yukon. “David epitomizes the core values and principles of Yukon and, over the past 12 years, has been a significant contributor to our success. His dedication and leadership are evident in all areas of the firm, and we look forward to David playing an integral role in our future growth.”

Mr. Sampair joined Yukon in 2011 as an analyst and he has nearly two decades of accounting, finance, and investment experience. Before Yukon, he was a senior financial analyst with Ameriprise Financial and began his career at PwC in its private client services group. Mr. Sampair has his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and is an inactive CPA.

“With his promotion to partner, David will continue to originate, execute, and lead new investment opportunities, as well as help drive the firm’s strategic and operational initiatives,” said Michael Hall, a managing partner at Yukon. “His demonstrated leadership abilities and relationship skills will be tremendous assets, and we are excited for his continued success.”

Yukon Partners makes subordinated debt and minority equity investments of up to $60 million in middle-market, private equity sponsored businesses that have revenues from $30 million to $500 million and EBITDA from $5 million to $50 million. The firm’s typical transactions include buyouts, growth and platform strategies, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, and public-to-private buyouts. Yukon Partners currently manages over $2.4 billion across five funds and has offices in Minneapolis, Boston, and West Palm Beach.
