
HSPOF will invest both directly and through co-investments in small- and medium-sized buyout and growth companies that have enterprise values from $50 million to $1 billion. Sectors of interest include healthcare, technology, consumer, services, and industrials. In addition, the fund will also invest in primary and secondary private equity funds located in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
HSPOF is sub-advised by Schroder Investment Management North America and Schroders Capital Management that have advised Hartford Funds for more than seven years. Benjamin Alt, Head of Global Private Equity Portfolios and Head of Private Equity Consumer Investments at Schroders Capital, and Ethan Vogelhut, Head of Buyout Investments Americas at Schroders Capital, will serve as portfolio managers of HSPOF.
