J.C. Flowers & Co., an active investor in the financial services sector, has added Dan Meade to its team as a managing director and head of business development and investor relations.
Mr. Meade has more than 16 years of experience in private markets business development and investor relations. Most recently he was a managing director in the New York City office of alternatives investor Castlelake, and earlier he held positions at Apollo Global Management and placement agent Eaton Partners. Mr. Meade has his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.

J.C. Flowers closed its fifth fund, J.C. Flowers V LP, in July 2022 with $1.1 billion in capital commitments. The new fund is already invested in Ariel Re (November 2020), Inigo Insurance (November 2020), iLendingDirect (May 2021), LMAX Group (July 2021), Tricor Insurance (November 2021), Insigneo Financial Group (June 2022), Solomon Wealth (June 2022), and YES BANK (December 2022).

Christopher Flowers and the firm has invested over $17 billion of capital in 65 portfolio companies across a range of industry subsectors including banking, insurance and reinsurance, securities firms, specialty finance, and services and asset management.
