Golding Farms Foods, a manufacturer of branded, private label, and co-packaged sauces and condiments and a portfolio company of Centre Partners since July 2017, has acquired Arcobasso Foods.
Arcobasso is a contract manufacturer of refrigerated dressings, sauces and beverage mixers that are sold to retailers, foodservice companies, and convenience stores. The company’s products can be packaged in a variety of formats including retail, single-serve and multi-use for foodservice customers, and as bulk products.
Arcobasso was founded in 1987 and has a 60,000 square foot facility and headquarters near St. Louis in Hazelwood, MO (www.arcobasso.com).
Golding Farms is a manufacturer of private label, branded, and co-manufactured sauces and condiments including fruit and pancake syrups; salad dressings; barbecue, marinade and steak sauces; chicken wing and hot sauces; soy sauces and curries; and aioli sauces. The company is led by CEO John Frostad and is headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC (www.goldingfarms.com).
According to Golding Farms, the buy of Arcobasso enhances Golding Farms’ product offerings and capabilities in numerous high growth categories and establishes a national manufacturing footprint to supply the company’s regional and national customers with sauce and condiment private brand programs and branded products.
