BGL Adds Business Services Pro

Cleveland-based investment bank Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) has added Peter Hill to its team as a new managing director in its business services practice.

Mr. Hill’s background includes merger and acquisition and capital markets experience in the business services sector including business process outsourcing, contact center services, facilities management, and temporary staffing.

Since 2010, Mr. Hill was with Philadelphia-based investment bank Mufson Howe Hunter & Company, most recently as a managing director and the head of the firm’s business services practice. From 1993 to 2010, he was a managing director and group head of business services at Stifel and its predecessor firm, Legg Mason.

“BGL’s culture is at the core of our brand and quality of service delivery. We invest considerable time identifying bankers who are thought leaders and well-respected in their disciplines. We believe Peter’s extensive investment banking experience and impressive transaction history will be seamless extensions of the BGL moniker to his network and the marketplace as a whole,” said Effram Kaplan, a managing director at BGL and a member of its executive committee.

Brown Gibbons Lang is a mid-market investment bank that specializes in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital markets, financial restructurings, valuations and fairness opinions. The firm was founded in 1989 and has investment banking offices in Chicago, Cleveland, and Philadelphia (www.bglco.com).
