Tonka Bay Equity Partners has promoted Kam Kielhorn to Principal and Taylor Fish to Senior Associate.
Tonka Bay invests in manufacturing, value-added distribution and business services companies that have EBITDAs greater than $2 million. The firm is based in the Minneapolis suburb of Minnetonka (www.tonkabayequity.com).
Mr. Kielhorn joined Tonka Bay in 2015 as an associate and was promoted to director in 2017. At Tonka Bay, Mr. Kielhorn is active in sourcing, structuring, and closing new investment opportunities and add-on acquisitions. He is also responsible for performing due diligence, managing financing relationships and providing strategic oversight and corporate governance to portfolio companies.
Mr. Fish joined Tonka Bay in 2016 as an associate. He is responsible for identifying and evaluating potential investments and monitoring portfolio companies. Mr. Fish works closely with several existing portfolio companies, including Engineered Specialty Products, NuSource Financial and Quick Cable.
