Lincoln Adds Automotive Senior Advisor

Global mid-market investment bank Lincoln International has added Sanjeev Varma to its team as a senior advisor. Mr. Varma’s will support the efforts of Lincoln’s Automotive and Truck Group and Special Situations Group.

Mr. Varma has a combined 34 years of automotive industry, investment banking and consulting experience. In addition, he has broad experience in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring transactions, marketing, strategic planning, and business development activities. Prior to Joining Lincoln, he was a managing director at Teneo Capital and held senior advisor positions at Duff & Phelps and Chanin Capital. During his 20 years working directly in the auto industry, he held senior positions at Magna Powertrain and New Venture Gear. He began his career with Chrysler Corporation in 1984.

Mr. Varma earned an MS in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University and a BS in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
