Sixpoint Partners has hired Richard Siegel as a vice president in its capital solutions business. In his new role, Mr. Siegel will be responsible for due diligence, execution and origination efforts in the secondaries and co-investment markets.
Sixpoint is an advisor to the middle-market private equity industry with three areas of focus: (i) primary fund placement and advisory; (ii) secondaries placement and advisory and; (iii) co-investment placement across a range of industries, strategies, and geographies.
“Sixpoint’s capital solutions business provides a variety of services including GP advisory, GP liquidity, LP liquidity, co-investment placement and separate account solutions,” said Larry Smith, a partner of Sixpoint. “Rich’s background align well with Sixpoint’s exclusive focus on providing premier client service and attention with the highest ethical standards.”
Over the past two years, Mr. Siegel has been a director in the private equity group within the Merchant Banking Division of Opus Bank. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly five years as an investment analyst at Spectrum Group Management. Other positions held by Mr. Siegel include as an analyst and associate with Rothschild in its restructuring division and as an analyst with Credit Suisse in its secondary private equity division
“The secondary and co-investment markets are increasingly complex and require a heightened level of strategy execution. Rich has an exceptionally strong background in our relevant fields of activity and a keen sense of client management that will strengthen the Sixpoint platform at a time of significant growth and demand for our services,” said Sixpoint Founder and Partner Eric Zoller. “We look forward to having Rich join the team and have no doubt that he will make an immediate impact on Sixpoint and our clients.”
