Renovo Capital has added Chris Dupré to its investment team as a new partner. Mr. Dupré has more than 20 years of experience in principal investing, strategy consulting, and mergers and acquisitions advisory. He will also become a member of Renovo’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Renovo, Mr. Dupré was with Wingate Partners, an operationally-oriented private equity firm, beginning in July 2007. In July 2013 he became a partner at Wingate where he was responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, executing transactions, and working with portfolio company management teams to execute operating strategies. From August 2003 to June 2007, Mr. Dupré was a manager with Bain & Company. He began his career with Bank of America, first in its investment banking operations and then in its principal investing business.
Mr. Dupré has his BBA from Texas Christian University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Renovo Capital makes control equity investments in lower middle market businesses that are undergoing varying degrees of operational, financial or market-driven change. The firm typically invests from $10 million to $40 million of equity capital in businesses with annual revenues between $20 million and $200 million.
