New Partner at Trive Capital

Trive Capital has promoted Blake Bonner to Partner. Mr. Bonner’s responsibilities include identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and working with portfolio company management teams to execute operational and growth strategies.

“Blake is a great investor with a nose for value, and with Trive’s continued growth and recent fundraise for Trive Capital Fund III, his addition to the leadership of the firm will enable us to create increasing value for our limited partners, management team partners and firm employees,” said Conner Searcy, Managing Partner of Trive Capital. In September 2017, Trive Capital held a final closing of Trive Capital Fund III LP with $1 billion of capital commitments.

Prior to joining Trive in November 2012, Mr. Bonner was a senior associate at Insight Equity and earlier he was an analyst with Houlihan Lokey. He has a BBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from Texas Christian University.

Earlier this month, Mr. Bonner was active in the acquisition by Trive of SSW Holding Company, a manufacturer of steel and glass components that are used in a range of applications including residential and commercial refrigeration, cooking, HVAC, counterweights, reinforcing mesh, and home and office organization. SSW is headquartered in Fort Smith, AR.

Trive Capital invests from $10 million to $150 million of debt or equity in North American headquartered companies with revenues of $40 million to $1 billion. The firm is industry-agnostic but has specific experience in the following sectors: aerospace and defense, automotive, building products, business services, chemicals, construction and infrastructure, consumer goods, energy services, food and beverage, healthcare, plastics and packaging, and transportation and logistics. The firm was founded in 2012 by Conner Searcy and Chris Zugaro and is based in Dallas (www.trivecapital.com).
