Guardian Capital Partners has promoted Adrian Ironside to Partner. Mr. Ironside is active with a range of investment activities at Guardian including transaction sourcing, due diligence, transaction modeling, negotiating and structuring, portfolio company monitoring and managing exit strategies.
Mr. Ironside joined Guardian in 2008 as a senior associate and has participated in dozens of transactions with Guardian over the last ten years. He serves as a board member of McCubbin Hosiery, a provider of branded and private label children’s and women’s socks, tights, and slippers (acquired in December 2013); Carson-Dellosa Publishing, a provider of K-8 supplemental education content (acquired in July 2016); Engineered Network Systems, a maker of products for mounting and storing keyboards, printers, ﬂat panel monitors and tablets (acquired in September 2015); and SMG Extol (DBA Direct Line), a provider of design, installation and maintenance services for data center IT infrastructure (acquired in February 2018). Prior to joining Guardian, he was with Goldman Sachs as a vice president in its private wealth management technology division.
Mr. Ironside has an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his BS in computer science and mathematics from Morehouse College.
