Monroe Capital has hired Ryan Flanders as a Vice President in its New York office. Mr. Flanders will serve on the firm’s investor relations and marketing team.
Prior to joining Monroe, Mr. Flanders spent seven years at Preqin, a provider of data and information on the alternative assets industry. Most recently, he was the Head of Private Debt Products at Preqin, where he created and established Preqin’s coverage of the private debt asset class, managing marketing, sales, and external communications on a worldwide basis while serving as a frequent contributor on the conference circuit. Earlier at Preqin he was active in client services and business sales roles. Mr. Flanders has his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.
Monroe provides senior and junior debt and equity co-investments to middle market and lower middle market companies based in the US and Canada. The firm is led by Ted Koenig, President and CEO; Michael Egan, EVP & Chief Credit Officer; and Thomas Aronson, Managing Director, Head of Originations. Monroe has approximately 90 professionals including 50 investment professionals averaging over 17 of direct investing experience.
