Amherst Adds Senior Associate

Investment bank Amherst Partners has added a new Senior Associate to its team with the hiring of Fahad Siddiqui. Over the course of his career, Mr. Siddiqui has held numerous roles in investment banking and corporate finance, having worked both as an M&A advisor as well as a private equity professional.

Before joining Amherst Partners, Mr. Siddiqui was an Associate in the investment banking practice at Robert W. Baird, serving middle-market clients in the industrial, industrial technology, and consumer products industries.  Prior to his time at Robert W. Baird, he was an Associate at Adams Street Partners, a secondary private equity group within a $20 billion fund of funds; and an Analyst in the M&A group at JPMorgan Securities.

“We are incredibly pleased to have Fahad join our team,” said Investment Banking Practice Leader Don Luciani. “He brings a wealth of experience from across the corporate finance spectrum along with a great track record of delivering outstanding service and results.”

Mr. Siddiqui graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics & Management and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Amherst provides investment banking services to middle-market companies that have revenues from $10 million to $500 million. The firm’s services include mergers and acquisitions, management advisory, capital raising, and restructuring services. Amherst was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in the Detroit suburb of Birmingham (www.amherstpartners.com).

Mr. Siddiqui has relocated to Michigan from Chicago and will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office.
