Harbour Group has acquired Thibaut, a wallpaper and fabric company, from Champlain Capital Partners.
Thibaut is the nation’s oldest continuously operating wallpaper and fabric company and is one of the leading designers and global distributors of branded wallpapers, fabrics, and furniture sold through the interior design channel and an array of high-end retail stores.
Company-owned brand names include Thibaut and Anna French. Thibaut was founded in 1886 and is headquartered in Newark, NJ with an additional office in London, UK (www.thibautdesign.com).
Champlain Capital Partners invests in middle-market companies with revenues of $20 million to $100 million and EBITDAs of $3 million to $10 million. Harbour Group invests in North American-based companies with valuations from $30 million to $500 million.
