Turnspire Capital Partners has hired Peter Nortrup as a Principal and Head of Business Development. Mr. Nortrup will lead Turnspire’s deal origination and marketing efforts.

Turnspire invests up to $30 million in companies with revenues between $25 million and $300 million. The firm prefers companies that are underperformers and/or in need of an operational turnaround. Sectors of interest include aerospace and defense; automotive; capital equipment; chemicals; consumer; construction and building materials; engineered products; food and beverage; industrial equipment; logistics (asset heavy); metals and metal fabrication; paper and packaging; and plastics and synthetic materials.
Mr. Nortrup joins Turnspire from Comvest Partners where, as a vice president, he originated and evaluated control equity, non-control equity, and direct lending investment opportunities. Prior to Comvest, he was with UBS’ wealth management business and began his career as an officer in the United States Air Force. Mr. Nortrup has a MS degree in strategic management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He earned his undergraduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s College of Aviation.
