Patricia Grad Joins Arsenal

Arsenal Capital Partners has hired Patricia Grad as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations. Bill Farrell, Arsenal’s Head of Investor Relations since 2011, has chosen to retire after a lengthy career.  He will be with the firm through the end of the year to assist during the transition and will remain a senior advisor to the firm.

In October 2016, Arsenal held a final close of Arsenal Capital Fund IV LP at its $1.3 billion hard cap. The firm’s previous fund, Arsenal Capital Partners III LP, was raised in 2012 with $875 million of committed capital. “Patricia joins Arsenal at an exciting time for the firm, as we continue our growth and evolution following the closing of our $1.3 billion Arsenal Fund IV, the largest fund in our history,” said Terry Mullen, Arsenal’s Co-Founder and Partner. “Patricia’s extensive experience will further enhance our fundraising initiatives and cultivate relationships with our investors.  Bill Farrell has been an exceptional partner and invaluable team member in helping build and shape our firm since inception in 2000.  Bill was instrumental in helping us position and market our first two funds and then came in-house in 2011 and helped us institutionalize our investor relations program and expand our network of limited partners.  We thank him for terrific contributions to the firm, and we wish him well in retirement.”

Ms. Grad has over 15 years’ experience in developing, launching, and executing fundraising and investor relations programs for private equity firms. From 2015 to 2017, she served as a Director in the Investor Development Group at Actis, where she focused on fundraising and investor relations activities for investors in the Americas and managed the firm’s relationships with consultants globally.  Prior to joining Actis, Ms. Grad was the Head of Investor Relations at Irving Place Capital from 2010 to 2015 and from 2004 to 2010 she was Vice President of Investor Relations at Oak Hill Capital.  She began her career in the alternative assets research group at Cambridge Associates.  Ms. Grad has a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a MBA from Columbia.

“Patricia has spent the majority of her career in private equity investor relations and fundraising, and brings tremendous experience to Arsenal after serving with a number of leading firms with global operations,” said Jeff Kovach, a Co-Founder and Partner at Arsenal. “Creating strong partnerships and transparent communications with investors is an important function, and we believe Patricia has the talent and background to help further best practices in investor relations at Arsenal.”
