New Senior Managing Director at Gridiron

Gridiron Capital has promoted Kevin Jackson to Senior Managing Director and he has also joined the firm’s investment committee.

Mr. Jackson joined Gridiron in 2010 as a Vice President and was promoted to Managing Director in 2012.  He is currently a director on the boards of several of Gridiron Capital’s portfolio companies including Dent Wizard, Rough Country and Tokyo Joe’s.

Gridiron Capital invests in manufacturing, service and specialty consumer companies that have EBITDAs from $5 million to $30 million and that are located in the United States and Canada. In October 2016, Gridiron held a final closing of the firm’s third fund, Gridiron Capital Fund III LP, at the hard cap of $850 million. Gridiron’s earlier fund closed with $425 million of capital commitments in August 2012. The firm is based in New Canaan, CT (www.gridironcapital.com).

Prior to joining Gridiron, Mr. Jackson was a Senior Associate at CCMP Capital, a private equity firm specializing in buyouts and growth equity investments.  At CCMP he was responsible for all aspects of transaction execution and portfolio company management, primarily in the healthcare, industrial and consumer sectors.  Earlier in his career Mr. Jackson served as an analyst at Credit Suisse in the firm’s Global Industrial & Services group.

Mr. Jackson has a BA in Economics & Latin American Studies from Oberlin College and an MBA from Columbia.
