Saban Capital Group (SCG), an investor in the media, entertainment and communications industry, has promoted Jennifer Chen to Director. Ms. Chen is based in SCG’s San Francisco office.
Ms. Chen has been with SCG since July 2014. In her new position, she will focus on digital media and consumer internet growth investments. Ms. Chen will also continue to support the firm’s portfolio companies including Univision and Saban Brands.
“Jennifer has played an instrumental role in the growth of SCG’s investment portfolio, particularly in the digital media and consumer internet sectors, which are exciting growth areas for us right now,” said Adam Chesnoff, President and Chief Operating Officer of SCG. “We thank Jennifer for all of her contributions to SCG and congratulate her on her well-deserved promotion to director.”
Before joining SCG as an associate in 2014, Ms. Chen was with Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Analyst. She has a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
